Chapter 28. He Calls Her Name

Queen Galina’s POV

I chattered my teeth grinding against my jaw while throwing the den a dirty look following suit to leave. The guards would take care of the cleaning and getting my tools arranged.

They could burn the hair for all I care. I wish I was faster and chopped off her head way sooner.

“Stupid old woman.” I cursed under my breath. Amari had to ruin the fun of watching Talitha die! Why was that old woman antagonizing me in everything I do? She never warmed up to me from the start as Hade’s mate and when I became queen I could still read the lines of resentments in her wrinkled brows.
