Chapter 49. Runaway
Talitha’s POV
My body turns limp as heavy dizziness hits me. A feminine hand stops me from falling freely to the floor with hot tears falling down my cheek.
“We have to leave before we get spotted.” Shera whispers, holding onto my arm. Leave to where? I ought to ask her but the words were too heavy to leave my lips.
“Hum...” I let her lead me by the arm out of the arena like a sheep with no idea of where she was taking me. My eyes clouded with images of Hades lying in a pool of his blood.
The roll out of bad occurrences in my life has solidified. I was cursed there was no denying it. I was still processing the unlikely circumstance my child was conceived to be swiftly swept away by his death.
I have my objections and beef with Hades but at this junction I couldn’t act still and smile at his demise. We created a child, a child of his flesh and blood. A lot of questions and thoughts blooming through my head pushing me over the edge to lose my mind.
