Chapter 53. You Crossed a Line

Talitha’s POV

The heavy pounding in my head has me feeling battered and the pains came with a bone-crushing shock when I peeled my eyes open to see the face of the man I despise.

His charade screamed his fakeness. I didn’t want to spend a second in the same atmosphere as him. A displeasing feeling settled at the pit of my stomach.

He tried forcing himself on me and a bigger scream broke out. The force awakens hitting my bones and something breaks. My eyes slowly drifted close as I got bundled out of the chambers leading me to an unknown destination but my fizzle brain was all over the place with pains at my lower abdomen, pains forcing down my head to roll to the side.

I heard the sound of metal my brain processing what sounds to be related to the-

“Dirty witch.” The guard holding me pushed me roughly into a cold dimly lit dungeon and the doors shut right up my face as I laid on the floor running out of breath. The push grazed my forehead.
