My face scrunched up with bitterness like the smell of rotten vegetables.

I was seated with the support of a soft pillow resting on my back as I think through the bad news. I woke up a few minutes ago hoping it could be a silly fatigue and the healer could get me some herbs to strengthen my bones but I wasn’t ready for the shocker.

My experiment came out brighter than day. How was I to know I could get pregnant this easily and I didn’t years back with Hades? The fault in conception can’t be from him because he successfully got his slave pregnant with child until I got rid of the obstacle.

A smirk rose on my face. I always knew myself to be smart and a goal getter in getting things that I want, when I went and how I want.

The Alpha came to me with a broken heart. Broken inside in need of someone to lean on. I gave him the assurance he needed and took the opportunity to my favor and got him into bed.
