A gasp escaped his lips as he stared at her, eyes not able to believe what he was seeing. Right before him was the one woman he had loved more than anything in this world— even himself. The one woman he was madly in love with, the one woman he would do anything for and give up everything for— even take his own life if need be.

If someone had told Lucious a day would come when he’d be apart from her, he certainly would have strangled the life out of them. He couldn’t survive a second without her, yet he had lived all these months trying to forget to forget her and he did, or so he thought.

Lucious had thought he had moved on and forgotten all about her and the pain her betrayal inflicted on him. His heart had been shattered to pieces after he saw her having sex with that rogue. That scene had hunted him for every night that had followed and Lucious lost count of the sleepless nights he'd spent craving and missing her. He hated himself for being made a fool because of love
