Lukas POV

It has been five days since Mia returned and every time she closed her eyes to sleep, she would stir violently, crying. No matter what I did, she wouldn’t wake up.

“Alpha Lukas, the seer has arrived” a maid said, interrupting my thoughts.

“Let him in”

I stood up from my seat and stared out the window, my eyes fixed on the moon that was beginning to peek through the clouds.

I didn’t turn even when I knew he was behind me.

“Here is what you asked for” he placed down a small bottle.

I had called him to create a potion that could help with Mia’s insomnia. He was about turning to leave when I spun around, stopping him.

“Don’t you have something to tell me?”
