Mia POV

Standing at a crossroads where each path leads to a different kind of pain and loss, not knowing which way to turn had to be the worst feeling ever.

I glanced at Lukas who was fast asleep beside me. I haven’t confronted him yet seeing the great amount of pain the curse had inflicted on him.

According to the seer, that pain will continue more frequently.

I sighed and closed my eyes, the words of the seer ringing in my ears.
