“Hiyaa!"

I jabbed André, and he deflected it easily. He laughed at my efforts to land a single blow on him.

“Can you stay still?!" I giggled. How am I going to hit you if you keep moving around like an eel?"

I made another jab, and he evaded, and I struck the air. He laughed again.

“How are ‘you’ going to learn if I stay still?"

We continued to go around in circles. Alvida had told André about my progress, and André had promised that I would do hand-to-hand combat training with him.

He said it would build my stamina and speed. It also made me realise how slow I was in my human form. Carrying this baby was really taking a toll on me.

I made another strike but he intercepted it. I grinned. This was my chance. I had lured him in. I could get him with a kick.

I made a move, but just as I was about to touch him, I pulled back. The kick was no lighter than a tap.

We both paused in the moment, and he looked at my leg.
