Chapter 228. Do You Know Who She Is?

André’s POV

“I need extra security around the camp perimeter. We have to be prepared for anything. I realize that Pierre isn’t back yet so i need you to take a headcount of the number of injured that we have. We need to know our strength just in case we need to ride out soon.”

“Yes, Sir. Anything else?”

I gave the guard a few more instructions and he took them down. I craned my neck and looked around. I saw a few men that Pierre had taken with him on his mission. I guess they were back and I was expecting a report soon.

“Sir, we found a few survivors from Jonas’ men. They are really injured. We aren’t sure how much longer they will stay alive.”

As we talked, some men walked up to us dragging two bodies with them. They were covered in blood and their breathing was weak. They looked like they didn’t have long to live. I could get the report from Pierre later; I had to take them to Alvida.
