Chapter 33. A Troubled Pack
Riyadh squinted her eyes as she woke up to consciousness, her heart picking up race as she became aware of her surroundings. She struggled, fighting the bounds on her body. She snorted as she noticed the hard chains wrapped around her.
“Idiots,” she scowled. Did they think she was a werewolf by tying her down with as many chains as they used? She snorted, shaking her head in disbelief. She would have thought they were smarter than they looked with the way Kristain talked of them and the preparation against their attack. She wouldn’t have believed they found it hard to know that she was human. Heck, she didn’t smell like a werewolf at all.
She sighed. They were just a bunch of blood-hungry monsters with a lack of intelligence. They were the real barbarians.
She held her cool, watching with impassivity as two men walked into the room that she was in; her only reaction was the fire in her eyes as she stared at them.
