Chapter 164

Third Person POV

It was still very early in the morning but Mikel was happy to return home to Arielle and Keenan. They were not a real family in the sense of the word but they were a family alright. He was not married to Arielle and she had made it very clear that she was not interested in being in a relationship other than friendship with him. He was quite content however to live with her and raise her son as I he were his.

Arielle had also told him countless times that he was free to leave them if he wanted to start his own family but he was more than happy with the way things were. Somewhere deep in his heart it was because he still held dreams of being a real husband to Arielle.

He had not slept at home because he had gone to the Light Moon pack on business but he was excited to come back home. He had gotten gifts for Arielle and Keenan the day before and he could not wait to see Keenan’s face light up as he unwrapped the gift he had bought him.
