Chapter 163
Arielle’s POV
Sometimes Keenan frustrated me on purpose. He was like a little devil at times. I could not afford a tutor and so I was doing my very best trying to teach him everything I knew but how did the child pay me in return? By running away from the house the moment I turned my head away to fly kites.
“Keenan! There you are, you little devil,” I said, taking long strides to get to where he was.
Before I could swoop in to drag him back to the house I heard him say, “I told you, very scary,” to a stranger standing beside him.
Without looking at the stranger’s face I asked Keenan, “what have I told you about talking to strangers?”
“But see, Mommy, he looks just like me. He cannot be a stranger,” he returned with an innocent face. If Keenan was not my son I would not have the patience to put up with him.
