Chapter 183

Dana’s POV

The man squatted beside me until he was eyeball to eyeball with me. I shivered when he looked at me; he only had one eye, the other socket was empty, there was no eye patch over it and all I could see was darkness; his functioning eye was no better, it sent out a bone chilling stare and froze my bones.

“Don’t worry dear, someone has paid very handsomely for you.” His smile was a symbol of his sadism. I wanted to scream in hopes that somebody would find me but I could not do that; my voice was trapped in my throat.

“What? You don’t like my eyes? Why do you look away? I lost one of these looking for you, I intend to take one back, an eye for an eye.” I was filled with dread as he said these words; this man meant what he said.

“Don’t worry honey; not today but you can expect me to pay back. I always collect what is owed me,” he said but what I could pick out was that they had no intention of killing me just yet.
