The man seemed to pale a little at this question. It had been unexpected and had thrown him off guard. It was true; no one knew just yet that the Keenan had been crowned king. Certainly, there were rumors flying and while the throne room had been thrown in chaos, the people had been very afraid and there were several speculations throughout town.

Some said that the Dark Moon pack was being overthrown by another pack; some version held that an assassin had come to hold the king and the ministers hostage; another speculation was that the ministers were trying to dethrone the king and he had commanded them to be killed. When Lord Christopher had been declared wanted, many assumed he had hired the assassin to kill the king but none of the speculations told of a new king.
