Dana’s POV

“I provoke a lot of feelings from people; fear, anxiety, desperation, sadness, joy, love, lust, obsession, the list goes on but disgust? My lady, I am incapable of doing that.” He brought his face closer to mine as if examining it. “You lie when you say you feel disgust, I can hear your heart racing, that means you’re either scared or in love with me; your face is red too, your symptoms betrays your words.”

“You are ridiculous!” I shouted.

“Shh! If you make too much noise I will have to tie you up,” he said with a finger on his lips.

“Why me?”

“Evil things happen to all kinds of people; either good or bad,” came his response.

“So you agree you’re evil?”

“I never denied it,” he told me.

“Your food will be cold,” he said before leaving me alone.

I did not touch the food; nothing was going to make me eat anything they put before me as I did not trust that they were not going to poison me.
