Chapter 21
Raya’s POV
I contemplated if I should join the queue or just go inside, but I was sure the guards at the door would throw me out. As I stood still deciding what to do, a woman dragged me inside. I was about to protest my release when I realized she fit the description Keenan had given sparsely (he had been wrong about a lot of things pertaining to her description).
She did not look old even though her hair, which teased her waist, was now all silver. I could spot no wrinkle on her face to reveal the many years she had spent alive but her eyes portend of a wisdom of several years spent in this world.
Her face was beautiful, and what Keenan had described as a crooked nose was, in fact, a strong, pointed nose that stood proud on her face. She was slender, but she did not look shrunken, neither was she bent. And for her stature, she had a surprisingly strong grip. I was about to ask her if she was Lady Tamar when she put an apron on me that read ‘Moon’s Deligh
