Raya’s POV

I was confounded for several hours afterwards. I could not explain what had happened to me or why it had happened. It was the strangest thing I had ever experienced. I had gone on teaching Matilda and also had listened in on a conversation Lord Christopher had had with a group of noble men. The most baffling thing was that I remembered everything that happened while my presence was split in two.

Had I powers that I knew not of? Or perhaps the ritual I had performed to unlock my innate abilities were just activating themselves now? Was it possible that I could gain control of my powers?

I closed my eyes and tried to concentrate; I tried recalling what had been going through mind that instance that my body had split into two but nothing was forthcoming.
