Chapter 26. Rovina
I found myself on a soft bed rather than a couch, my body still naked under the covers. I gulped at the sight of Xavier walking in shirtless, a breakfast tray in his hand, and a clear look of guilt crossing his calm face. As my eyes met his emerald ones, the events of last night replayed in my mind, and I remembered the warmth of his touch and how he made me feel alive. I had never experienced such emotions around any casual men I had been with.
"Leia, I shouldn't have marked you without your permission," Xavier confessed, shifting from foot to foot guiltily, his gaze flitting between my neck and my eyes. "Trust me, Leia, I wouldn't have marked you without your consent. My wolf took control and marked you."
"I don't know what to say, Xavier, but I'm not angry for some reason. That's weird. I hate it when things or anyone tries to do things without my consent." Xavier's eyes deepened with guilt at my words, but he also studied my expression. I wasn't angry
