Chapter 20. Stay Here

Amelia’s POV

I followed in her footsteps as she went through the iron gate. Not only was it tall, but it was also quite dense, and no one could see what was enclosed within. As we moved closer to the entrance, my fascination began to consume my thoughts.

“Did we walk into a residence or a courtyard when we got here?”

As I looked around the whole area, I couldn’t help but wonder whether it was real, and I couldn’t stop myself from speaking.

“It’s absolutely huge!”

The entire surface was covered in Bermuda grass that was cut to the proper size for the terrain in the vicinity. In the middle of where we walked was the asphalt pathway that went to the ancient stone mansion in the distance. This is the first time in my entire existence that I have ever seen a residence like this, and it is currently situated on the island.
