Chapter 31. I Was Already in Tears

Adrianna’s POV

When we got to the kitchen, the maids were busy; immediately, their eyes fell on us. Some frowned, while some just acted like they didn’t see me.

I stood behind Bianca with my hands at my back.

Bianca walked to someone I considered the eldest with a stern face.

She whispered something to her.

I saw the person’s face widen, but she didn’t say a word.

And just like that, they all started leaving the room one after the other.

When the room was finally empty, Bianca turned towards me with a smile.

“Let’s get started,” she said, rubbing her hands together.

I walked further into the kitchen. “What are we going to make?” I asked.

Bianca placed her hand on her chin, trying to think hard. Her eyes brightened suddenly.

“We will be making lobster soup,” she blurted. Squealing in delight.

“A lobster soup?” I asked. What kind of soup is that?
