Adrianna’s POV

I massaged my forehead as I climbed down the bed slowly before walking to where Bianca and the beast were.

They were still fast asleep. I wanted to wake them up, but stopped midway.

I made my way back to the bed, then continued reading. The sound of someone yawning got my attention.

I stared at Bianca as she stretched, but her body froze midair when the beast growled at her.

I saw her wide eyes meet mine. I wanted to burst into laughter. Dropping the book on the bed, I walked to where the beast was.

“Hey, bubu,” I said to the beast who was staring at the stiff Bianca.

I bent to his height, rubbing his fur. “Did she wake you up?” I asked, stroking him gently.

He relaxed into my body. My gaze shifted to Bianca, who placed her hand on her mouth. Then she tiptoed to the farthest side of the couch and sat.

I smiled. “Is he calm?” Bianca asked in a low voice.
