Chapter 55. Attack

Adrianna’s POV

My knees grew weak as I slumped on the floor. At that moment, Bianca rushed into the room.

“Is he here?” She asked.

I shook my head. “Hold on, let me call Marcus,” she said as she stepped aside.

I did not even know what to say, nor could I move. All of this would be placed on me. I was the one who took him out.

If the council or the members of the pack found out I was the one who took their Alpha out and now he was nowhere to be found, they would probably stone me to death.

“Bianca, it’s my fault, I…” I said with trembling lips, but Bianca interrupted me.

She bent to my height, held my face, and stared into my eyes. “It’s not your fault. You didn’t know he would leave.”

“But…”

“No buts, Adrianna. The least we can do now is find him before things get out of hand,” she said as she stood.

My teeth bit hard on my trembling lips. “Come on, get up. We will find him,” Bianca said as she stretched out her hand
