Chapter 63. Crisis

Marcus’s POV

I pushed the door open, leaving the Alpha’s chamber. I walked down the corridor straight to the study room. On getting there, I switched the system on.

My gaze darted around to make sure no one else was in the room with me.

I sighed heavily, watching the screen come up. Bianca had told me about the bulk medication Edwin had brought.

I ran my hand through my hair when the screen finally lit, going to the scholar’s message inbox. “The situation is getting better. Thanks for your guidance.” I sent a message to him.

Shortly, a notification chimed in. “I knew she had a thing for his recovery. Don’t worry, all will be resolved soon.” The scholar responded almost immediately.

A smile broke through my face as I relaxed back into the chair and rubbed my face.

I sat up, shut down the system, and deleted all the recent tabs. Before I walked out, I moved to the yard where the soldiers were practicing.
