Chapter 56. Lost and Found

Kael’s POV

When I woke up, I was at the cottage in the woods that Marcus and a few others knew about.

I pushed the door open and stared outside the woods. The air smelled like dust, making me inhale the earthy scent.

I really missed going to the woods and hunting wild animals. I went back inside and bent so I could see what was under the bed.

My eyes lit up when I saw they were still there. I pulled the basket of clothes out and coughed slightly when I realized how they smelled.

I scrunched my nose as I took one of the pants. I stood slowly, then put on the trousers.
