Chapter 57. Who Saved You?

Adrianna’s POV

My eyes fluttered open slowly. I squinted them, trying to adjust to the dimly lit room. The first thing my gaze settled on was the Alpha sitting on the edge of the bed with my leg on his thigh.

My body jerked slightly when I felt a sharp sting in my leg.

“You’re awake,” he murmured as he glanced at me.

I shifted as I tried to sit up. “Thank you,” I murmured, seeing how he had cleaned my wound and even rubbed an ointment on it.

He smiled at me. My eyes darted around. I blinked rapidly when I realized we were not in the Alpha’s chamber but rather a very small, cramped room.

“Where are we?” I asked.

He sighed. “We are in the middle of the woods, not too far from the mansion,” he said.

I mouthed an O as I nodded. Glancing around made me feel some recognition, and my eyes widened for a brief moment when I remembered I had been here before.

“Are you hungry?” the Alpha suddenly asked.

He didn’t even wait to h
