Chapter 59. She Hoped He Would Be Happy

Adrianna’s POV

The smiling face of Edwin made a smile break across my face. I stepped aside to let him come in.

This time, he brought a box again, but it was not huge, just a mini box. “Greetings, Elder Edwin,” Bianca said with a slight bow.

Instantly, I bent and bowed my head. “Greetings, Elder Edwin.” He smiled and waved his hand.

“You guys don’t have to be formal. Come on, let’s have a seat,” he said as he took a seat across from us.

I sat with Bianca beside me. He rubbed his hands while the guard placed the box on the table.

“I brought the medicine for the Alpha,” he said.

I frowned slightly. Medicine for the Alpha? When did he ever need medicine, or was there something I didn’t know?

“I heard he had been healing from these drugs, so I decided to get them in bulk,” he said as he shifted the box toward me.

I swallowed. “Yes, he has been healing,” I said as I clasped my sweaty palms together.

Bianca remained mute.
