Chapter 95. Absence in Hospital

Bella’s POV

Sitting in Sir Gabriel’s room, I had a lot of thoughts in my heart. I knew he would be well by the time he opened his eyes but I was still a little worried. I could remember how scared Devon was when he heard about what happened to his father and my word was that I would try my best to save him.

Devon believed my word and stayed back, how would I be able to explain to him if something happened to his father? Would he ever trust me again after that or would he hate me forever? He might even think I intentionally did not save his father because of my grudge toward him... It was bad.
