I stepped out of the washing room, carefully adjusting my robe so it drapes securely over my body while beads of water trickle down my skin. My gaze fell on the figure waiting for me on the bed, and I felt a jolt of urgency. Hastily, I made my way to the door—surprisingly, it wasn’t even locked from the inside.
