Chapter 126. Battle of the Mind

The witch found a link to her mind in her most vulnerable state. She used her magic to try and invade her thoughts, invading her mind and forcing her to relive the battle and fight once more. To her shock, it worked perfectly. She managed to steal the spell that allowed her control over the queen’s mind without so much as raising a finger.

It made perfect sense why her mind hadn’t gone into overdrive, she thought, recalling the conversation she’d had with the witch a few weeks ago after waking up. The witches had said her mind was safe because they knew her well enough, so they had no need to worry. Perhaps she had simply underestimated the extent of her powers?
