Chapter 129. Enchanted Veil

After we managed to rescue the queen from the holds of the witch that had her under her spell, I nodded at Saelyna, who also acknowledged me. We walked on, with the queen and after moments passed, I could see Saelyna act dizzy and trying to maintain her walking pace. Not long later, she passed out, fell face forward and land heavily to the ground. I rushed to her side, but it seemed like she was already having able fit.

I panicked. I called out to her and slapped her face lightly a few times. But she was out cold.

The Queen and the others that came with us to search for the piece in the library rushed over to where I was huddled beside her and saw me checking the pulse of her pale neck. As much as I wanted to keep them away so they wouldn’t disturb me, Saelyna was unconscious and the best thing that would be for her would be for me to keep her awake. At least I had enough energy to keep her conscious while we walk through this hellish terrain.
