Chapter 13. Chattering Breakfast
The next morning when I woke up, it felt like a new start—starting as a married woman in my career. And I already hated that title.
When I was getting ready by myself, waiting for my manager to arrive, I decided that I would put Aaron's betrayal in the back of my head for a peaceful stay here. However, that didn't mean I entirely forgave him.
Also, I didn't want to hurt his feelings by giving him a cold shoulder for too long. Sometimes, I feel like patting my own shoulder for showing such kindness.
We could just live normally until the six months pass and go back to being strangers. It would definitely affect my career, but I would rather not stay in a forced relationship. My happiness came first.
Since it was the start of July, I got ready in a sleeveless black top and maroon skater skirt before heading out of my room. I found Aaron already eating his breakfast with his eyes glued on his iPad screen.
