“Therefore, this is my plan!” I announced it to Juliette, whom I called over to our place to discuss my plans for Aaron on his birthday.

“Everything is perfect and great. I am sure he would love it, but…” Juliette trailed off. Her gaze refused to meet mine, as if she was hesitating to say something.
