Chapter 67. Birthday Parties
“What? It's Aaron's birthday the day after tomorrow?” I asked in surprise when Seneca blurted it out while playing with me.
She nodded her head and said, “But Uncle doesn't like to celebrate it.”
“Why not?”
“He finds it pointless and a waste of energy,” she told me with a huff.
“Sounds just like him.” I rolled my eyes. Aaron was such a grumpy kitty. And the grumpy-ass kitty needed some desperate warmth. “But that doesn't mean we should do nothing,” I smirked.
“But it's on a working day. He would never skip his work,” she pointed out. “He is such a workalo… I don’t know the word. But you get it, Aunt.”
I hummed in response, twitching my lips in a thoughtful manner as Seneca watched me as if I was some sort of an amusing clown. “Let's think about it later. Now, I wonder who is going to defend the block tower as I run it over with my Hot Wheels!”
