Chapter 72. Not Faking
Taking a sharp breath to calm down my nerves, I stepped out of the limousine. As soon as I was out, I was blinded by the lights of the cameras, bringing back a few unpleasant memories. I may not seem like it normally, but I was a professional. So I was used to it. I maintained a bold smile and walked through the red carpet confidently.
I was wearing an elegant off-shoulder long silver gown that had a slit on my left and a deep V-neck. The fabric was sparkling as the reporters took photos of me.
Though I was smiling for the cameras, there was a lingering bitter feeling inside me as I didn't receive any messages from Aaron since he left for office this morning.
