I woke up the morning after with my wife’s right arm snaked on my waist and her head digging into my back. It gave me a smile, knowing that after she had a talk with Lyle last night, she still came back to me and slept this close.

I was right. Despite all the coldness that was in our relationship, some things never changed. For one, our love for each other.

I turned by gently lifting her arm and twisting my body. This time, I was facing her as her chest slowly rose and fell with her steady breathing. Even the slightest of her activities were a manifestation of art to me. I couldn’t help myself from admiring it. Admiring her.
