Chapter 43
Samuel Adefarasin sat in the front seat with the driver, while Pastor Frederick Alozie sat with his assistant, Pastor Roland Ebube, and Deaconess Esther Amadi in the back seat of the SUV. It was almost seven in the evening when they reached the location.
The excited driver jumped out and opened the door for his boss to alight. Thereafter, they proceeded briskly to the gate of the large compound on Benjamin Opara Street. The gate was soon opened after Pastor Alozie knocked twice on it.
The uninterested security guard led the party to a small waiting room while he went to fetch the landlady. When the robust lady came out to meet them, she was all smiles, thinking one or two among them were prospective tenants.
“Good evening all…I am Mrs Katherine Nwachukwu, but you can call me Kate.”
