Chapter 21. Sharing the Bed

Matteo’s POV

The idea of being with her alone in the night made my blood rush. She looked surprised but she masked it in and smirked.

"What do you say?" I asked again as she placed her finger on her forehead in thought.

"I think we should go to a hotel, but what would happen to your car?" She suggested and I nodded. This was my route and the nearest hotel was thirty minutes away and twenty-five if we increased our walking pace.

"Everyone knows better than to touch anything that belongs to me. We would have to walk fast. There's no hotel nearby," I informed her and she nodded.

She glanced at her foot and shook her head. "I should have kept my flip-flops in the car as I usually do."

"Well, there's nothing we can do about your heels," I replied and we began to walk together. I'd have walked faster if I was alone, but I had to consider the beautiful woman beside me.
