Chapter 22. Behind the Closed Doors

Aurora’s POV

I shifted uncomfortably on the bed glaring at the smug grin which was plastered on his face. Why on earth did he think I'd be comfortable sharing a bed with him? Though the thought of being with him throughout the night was unsettling, I still wanted to know it would feel.

"Since you're so interested on sharing the bed then I'd lay on the couch. It looks soft and cozy enough," I smirked and then he took off his shirt.

He was left on a white vest and I looked away, not wanting to imagine how his chest would look like.

"Don't be so shy, it's nothing you haven't seen before," He teased slyly, "Or haven't you seen enough bare chests?

"I don't derive joy in seeing that. It doesn't interest me," I replied curtly, got up from the bed and limped with a wince towards tie bathroom.

"Are you sure, you can bath on your own?" He raised his brows.

"I'm slightly injured, not crippled. Sure, I can take care of my issues." I huffed then stopped
