At the restaurant, Angelo, Ariana, Christina, and I were seated, patiently waiting for our orders to arrive.
It was evident that Ariana felt uneasy because just like her strained relationship with Angelo, she also didn't get along with Christina. Sometimes, I wished I had heeded Ariana's warning about Christina's unsettling behavior, believing she seemed like a psychopath.
Ariana had repeatedly expressed her doubts, cautioning me not to trust Christina due to her peculiar and creepy actions. Regrettably, I failed to see what Ariana saw, and it ultimately cost me a five-year relationship with the woman I loved.
"I must say, it's great to see both of you here together again. It's been so long since I witnessed you two interacting," Angelo remarked, referring to Christina and me.
I chose not to respond.
