Chapter 22. Rumours

On the final day of the trip, it seemed that Anna was determined to prove her point by giving me silent treatment. We were on the bus back to campus.

"So you are just going to ignore me, right?" I asked just as the bus pulled up to the campus gates. She glanced at me but did not say a word. "I do not understand why we would argue over something like this. It is ridiculous." Her eyes narrowed as she stared at me with crossed arms. "Okay, I do not mean that. You should understand that we are different individuals with different personalities." Her face softened as she sighed. 

"It is not that I do not respect that. Just do not live life always in the background. You might wake up one day and realise your whole life has passed you." I did not notice the bus was already emptying until the coordinator made an announcement. 

"Alright, everyone, we are glad you could come on this trip with us. We hope you had a great time while learning!" I got off the bus along
