Chapter 72. We’ll Save Her for Him

Hannah’s POV

[Flashback continues]

“Where are we going?” I asked Riley while I tried to keep up with her.

How she was able to walk that fast in six-inch heels was a cause of amazement to me.

“Gosh, Hannah. You ask too many questions for your own good. Now hurry up, will you?”

I was practically running to keep up to her. Thankfully, she finally stopped in front of a luxury clothing store. Without a moment of exhaustion, she walked in and I followed after her.

Riley picked out a few dresses from the racks and handed them to me. “Go try them on.”

When I took a second to look at the dresses, ready to protest, she snapped at me, “Go, now!”

I walked into the changing room and took out the first dress. Merely looking at it, I was certain there was no way I could like the dress. It was strapless and too small for me. Yet somehow, I managed to fit into it.

“What the hell are you doing there, Hannah?” Riley shouted from outside.
