Chapter 74. The Boss
Third-Person POV
In a dark bunker, a man hung down with his hands chained above his head.
He puked a good amount of blood after his tormentor hit him again. He was badly beaten, bloody, and almost half dead.
He groaned, unable to let out any more scream.
“Please, I told you. I don’t know where it is. Please, just let me go.”
His tormentor hit him again, straight on his torso.
He groaned in serious pain. He was hanging on a thin thread of life, and any second from then on, he was going to die.
He didn’t mind dying to protect what he was hiding from his captors. But he had underestimated the ability of the people who had taken him.
His attacker let him be for a few minutes before returning with a screen.
“No, no.” His eyes widened at what he saw on the screen.
His captor didn’t need to say a word. He began spilling the secret he had held so dearly before.
“It’s in a safe. A public safe. I’ll tell you the number.
