Lena’s POV
I kept Theo on the call as I kept driving to his place.
“Can you lie on your stomach?” I instructed. He groaned in response and I heard some shuffling over the phone.
When I eventually arrived at the building, Theo called out the password for me as I rushed to the elevator. My leg bounced as I waited for the elevator to get to the top floor.
The elevator stopped with a ding and I bolted out immediately when the door opened. My hands trembled as I punched the passcode. The door opened with a click and I bursted in.
l found Theo curled slightly on the couch, one hand clutching his stomach, sweat beading on his forehead as he groaned in pain.
“Hey,” I said firmly, kneeling beside him and making him lie flat on his back. “Where exactly does it hurt?” I asked as I pressed on different parts of his stomach.
“It hurts everywhere,” he groaned. “It feels like it’s twisting. Please do something to make it stop.”
