Chapter 52. Why Did You Come Back?

Lucas’s POV

I stayed back at the office until it was late because I was still waiting for Empire Group’s representative to come over and sign the partnership contract Mr. Kaito and I finally agreed.

“Mr. Anderson, they’re here,” Liam said as he walked into my office.

“Okay, that’s great.” I got up and fixed my suit jacket before walking into the meeting room.

As soon as I stepped into the room, I noticed a woman who had her back facing the door. She immediately turned around with an apologetic smile. “Lucas, I mean Mr. Anderson, I’m so sorry for being late and keeping you waiting.”
