Liana’s POV
The only thing that could be heard in the room was the sound of our breathing. I was still trying to fathom the sudden difference in Ian’s attitude towards me but my brain was failing to understand it.
Ian was holding me in his arms after having sex for the first time since we got married and I had no idea what to make out of it. My heart couldn’t help but flutter and my wolf got more excited, interpreting it as something I didn’t want to believe it was.
He wasn’t just going to just forget about his hatred for me for five years overnight.
‘Maybe he’s finally accepting us as his mate,’ My wolf, Marisa said in my head.
‘Don’t get your hopes up.’ I warned but she obviously didn’t listen because my heart beat faster just by being so close to him and listening to the sound of his heartbeat.
My stomach growled, interrupting the silence in the room and my cheeks turned pink with embarrassment.
“You’re hungry?” Ian asked and I nod
