Chapter 57. Were They Going on a Date?

Lena’s POV

After talking to Lucas, I had been spending my free hours from work thinking of a good proposal. Days went by and I was able to come up with something.

I didn’t know if it was perfect because I was not an expert in the business field but I was hoping it would be enough to convince Lucas to invest in Pretakis company.

That night, I waited for Lucas to come home, so I could show him the proposal but it was getting really late and he wasn’t back yet.

I concluded that he was probably working overtime, so I asked Katilyn to pack his dinner into a lunch box. I went back upstairs to my room to get dressed and took the proposal file I had prepared before leaving to Lucas’s office with a lunch box

Half an hour later, I arrived at Anderson Company. I was about to step out of the car but I froze on my spot when I saw Yvonne and Lucas walking into the parking lot toward Lucas’s car.

Judging by the smile on Yvonne’s face and the soft look on
