Chapter 54. Mine To Break

Liana’s POV

The sky was completely dark when I woke up and I wondered how long I had been napping. I stretched out my hand to reach for my phone but my hand came in contact with a warm, hard chest.

My eyes widened and I sprang up immediately, the drowsiness disappearing in an instant.

It was dark in the room, so I couldn’t see who it was but my wolf caught a familiar scent and my heart began to calm down.

‘Mate,’ my wolf whispered in my ear.

Why is he in my room and when did he even come in? Was I so deep asleep that I noticed someone coming in and sleeping next to me?

He moved and turned up the lamp by the bedside. I was about to ask him what he was doing in my room, but he pulled me to his chest and wrapped his hands around me.

“Ian, what are you doing?” I whispered as my heart began to race.

Maybe it was because of the mate bond but i found it difficult to control my heart around him.

“Sleeping with my wife,” He replied
