Chapter 65. A Wife’s Revenge

Lucas’s POV

When I left the hospital the following morning, I went to my penthouse close by instead of going back home before leaving for work an hour later.

I was busy giving Liam some instructions concerning our project with the Empire company when I received a message on my phone. After I dismissed Liam, I unlocked my phone to see that Gray had sent a video to our group chat along with some photos.

The first thing I opened was the video and I raised my eyebrows in confusion when I saw that it was just a video of Lena’s interview. Austin had informed the interview about her saving Jordan Carter.

But I later realised that the video was a cut out of the interview because the only question the reporter asked Lena was whether she was married or single.

Lena hesitated for a while before she finally replied, “I’m unmarried.”

My hands tightened around the phone and the veins in my temple throbbed as I watched her smile brightly at the camera.
