Not long after I came back downstairs, Ian, Austin and Gray arrived one after the other

Austin immediately went to his mate to ask her how she was doing or if she was feeling any discomfort. The rest of us were watching him with a grin and we chuckled when she pushed him away and said, “Stop bothering me and go chat with your friends.”

I never knew Austin could be so clingy when it came to his woman. His intimidating look and cold personality were all for show. He was like a faint teddy bear around Daisy.

When the food was ready, I decided to call Xavier to ask where he was. Just as I brought out my phone, he walked in with two boxes of cherries in his hand.

The other guys rolled their eyes at him for making them look irresponsible.

“Xavier, why the hell did you do that? You are the only one who brought gifts. You are making us look bad for coming empty handed,” Gray spoke up.
