Chapter 91. Everybody Is Happy

Lena’s POV

I woke up to my whole body feeling sore from all the activities last night. Reaching for Lucas’s side of the bed, I noticed it was empty. He probably went to work already. I got up and got dressed before making my way downstairs to get some food.

To my surprise, I found Lucas eating his breakfast in the dining room.

“Luna, you’re awake.” Katilyn walked past me with a plate of boiled eggs. “Why don’t you eat with the Alpha? I will serve your plate right away.”

I sat down as she dished my food. “I thought you would be at work by now.”

“I woke up late,” he replied casually as he continued eating. “It seems I was pretty worn out last night. I need to build back my stamina.”

My cheeks instantly got ready, knowing that Katilyn was listening. Why did he have to input that information? Besides, I should be saying that not him. He was the one who kept me till the next morning, he could have just stopped when he was tired. Why complain as
